About Us

CommuniKate is a family run business with over 30 years experience in the mobile phone industry.

In 1988 the directors initially supplied communication systems to the likes of Balfour Beatty, Carillion, Laing EPL & BP on projects such as the new Seven Bridge, Sizewell B and Heathrow T5 projects.

The skills learned in designing major communication systems were transferred to the emerging mobile phone industry in 1993, when the directors started, what would become, the UK's largest independent mobile phone company, which was ultimately sold in 2006 having become the 2nd fastest growing company in Wales during its time.

CommuniKate was established in 2008 and acquired by the directors in 2016. Today they are one of the major EE Approved Suppliers and are on the 2018 Welsh Assemblies list of Internet Service Providers for mobile broadband systems, operating from 3 locations across Wales
